The Elko County Medical Society, in conjunction with Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital and the University of Nevada School of Medicine, has arranged two CME opportunities for all licensed medical providers and their guests on September 9 and September 10. The series will be held at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital with teleconferencing to remote sites in Battle Mountain, Caliente, Ely, Fallon, Hawthorne, Lovelock and Winnemucca. Nationally recognized speaker, Dr. Herbert Fred, has chosen topics appropriate for our rural communities. Through the generosity of the University of Nevada School of Medicine, the Nevada Academy of Family Physicians, the Nevada State Medical Association, Great Basin Surgical Center and participating hospitals, the CME lecture series is being offered at no cost.
