Pediatric Grand Rounds: Pediatric Trauma Update

Learning Objective(s): At the completion of this activity the participant will be able to:
- Describe the priorities in management of the pediatric airway, dosing of medications and fluid management.
- Describe the types of pediatric injuries sustained with a given mode of trauma, and identify the most common injuries occurring in various age groupings.
- Differentiate the types of cardiothoracic, orthopedic and abdominal trauma, and list appropriate management for each type.
