Staying safe means having the tools and resources to empower and guide you to make choices that protect you and your family. Sheriff Allen will help enlighten and navigate seniors through the phone scams that are affecting citizens in Washoe County and discuss other situational awareness safety tips.

Presenter: Sheriff Chuck Allen was elected as Washoe County's 26th Sheriff on November 4, 2014, his latest endeavor in over 30 years of public service that began with the United States Air Force in 1984. In 1990, Sheriff Allen entered civilian service as a law enforcement officer by joining the ranks of the Nevada Highway Patrol. He served as a State Trooper (aka "Trooper Chuck") for over 24 years; the last 11 years as the Public Information Officer.
