This clinic provides a forum for presentation and discussion of patients with both Type I and Type II diabetes with a team of diabetes experts including an endocrinologist a diabetes nurse educator and a nutritionist in addition there is an opportunity for presentation of patients with other endocrine disorders.

Evan Klass, MD is a Board Certified Endocrinologist with over 30 years of clinical practice experience. He is the Governor for the Nevada Chapter of the Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Clinical Endocrinology. He is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Associate Dean of Statewide Initiatives, Director of Project ECHO Nevada, and Medical Director of the Nevada AHEC

Dr. Veronica Brady holds both a Masters' degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and a doctoral (PhD) degree from the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center. She is a certified diabetes educator and board certified in advanced diabetes management. She has presented locally, nationally and internationally on the subject of diabetes and the management of patients receiving high dose steroids. In addition, she authored several publications regarding diabetes in the Oncology Nursing Forum, the Journal of Diabetes Therapeutics and Technology, and the Clinical Advisor.

Karmella Thomas is a faculty member at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. She trained at University of Nevada, Reno, in both biology and nutrition. She has a certificate of Specialized Training in Adult Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association. She also earned the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credential in June 2012 and currently works with the Project ECHO team as the lead dietitian. She consults with the tele-health team to assist primary care providers in rural settings regarding complex diabetes and cardiovascular conditions.
