Psychologists at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine are committed to innovation and are actively involved in ground-breaking research studies. Our psychologists are doctors of behavioral analysis and can help address most mental health disorders. When further treatment is needed beyond the scope of our psychologists they will refer patients to School of Medicine psychiatrists.
School of Medicine psychologists can diagnose and treat a range of emotional problems including depression and anxiety, personality disorders, and can even support patients suffering from fear and grief as a result of domestic violence or sexual assault. We also care for all patients of any age, race, or sexual identity.
Our psychologists are university-based and have access to the latest medical research and clinical studies. In addition, they continually participate in their own studies to advance their knowledge in the field of psychology. We understand, that sometimes our patients just need someone to lend an ear and listen, and we're here for that. When you're ready for advice or assistance in managing your mental disorders, we're available for that too. We don't want you to feel lost or alone—the psychology team at the School of Medicine is available to help you when you need it.
