Speech Language Pathology
The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine provides the finest professionals providing speech and language pathology services to the northern Nevada community. Our services are located at the Claude I. Howard Speech and Hearing Center located on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno, in the Nell J. Redfield Building.
In addition to providing quality speech-language pathology and audiology services to the Reno, Sparks and surrounding areas, our highly qualified faculty and staff help train graduate student clinicians in speech-language pathology and audiology in preparation for entering professional practice. Most services are provided by graduate student clinicians and are supervised by certified speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
The Claude I. Howard Speech and Hearing Center offers undergraduate and graduate student training, community services for speech, language, swallowing and hearing assessments and therapy. We also offer six other clinics that are housed within the Claude I. Howard Speech and Hearing Center.
The School of Medicine's speech and language pathology patient care centers accept most government and private insurance plans. We are dedicated to providing quality care to patients of all ages.
