The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine brand and identity represents all of the school's enterprises—medical education, patient care, research and community engagement. Using the updated School of Medicine logos and branding in a consistent manner on all communications will ensure a cohesive look and feel in the community.
This style guide discusses in detail, the proper and improper usage of the School of Medicine logos and typography. These follow closely with the University of Nevada, Reno styles and need to be used correctly at all times.
In addition, a color palette and illustrations are provided which includes the main University's silver and blue palette and adds a bit of the School of Medicine's history as well. These are provided to help make production pieces more creative and can be used any time.
The School of Medicine name should always be referred to as "The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine" in first reference and in all other references when possible. An acronym is not encouraged, but if an abbreviation is absolutely necessary, then "UNR Med" is the acceptable choice. Learn more about using our new name.
