2nd Annual AGEx (Applied Gerontology Experience)
A TEDx-inspired event to create appreciation and awareness of aging through a multifaceted lens. Four speakers will share their experience with aging, followed by an audience Q-and-A session and reception open to all. This event kicks off our Aging Appreciation Week events!

Wednesday, April 5, 4-6 p.m. Zoom
Disrupt Aging Classroom
Encounter thought-provoking ways of looking at aging and explore society's perceptions of older adults. The program challenges people to discuss demographic trends, ageism, and their personal and professional stakes related to aging.
Facilitators: Patti Swager, M.Ed., director of the Nevada Geriatric Education Center (NGEC), and Natalie Mazzullo, M.Ed., healthy aging coordinator, Extension. Disrupt Aging is an AARP program presented through a collaboration between NGEC and University Extension.
