ASG's Mission

The purpose of this organization is to help educate students about aging and to serve the community by organizing events with older adults.

The ASG aims to improve the quality of life of older adults in the community, as well as help educate the college population about ageism.

Meetings

Past ASG activities have included:
  • Intergenerational Conversations and Crafts events
  • Wrapping presents for older adults during the holidays
  • Intergenerational "tech time" event
  • Winter crafts at Arbors Memory Care
  • Intergenerational Halloween dance
  • "Dinner at Chipotle" fundraiser
  • Participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's
