Introduction to Mindful Living Workshops

The Introduction to Mindful Living workshop is designed to introduce you to the practice of mindful meditation through practice and discussion.

This program is offered by the Sanford Center for Aging, University of Nevada, Reno. It will be held for two hours, once a week for six consecutive weeks.

Some topics and skills covered in the workshop include:

  • Mindful breathing
  • Mindfulness of the body, emotions and thoughts
  • Mindful eating
  • Ability to be present with each moment of your life
  • Cultivate attitudes of patience, trust, acceptance, openness, non-judgement
  • Strengthen concentration

Class size is limited and registration is required.
