VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM DRIVERS

• WHAT YOU DO: Volunteer to use your vehicle to drive people age 60+ who need a ride to appointments, errands and social activities. Share a smile, get a meaningful break from work or study. You must be 18 or over.
• WHAT YOU GET: A flexible volunteer schedule, mileage reimbursement, a chance to explore the Reno area.

SENIOR OUTREACH SERVICES

• WHAT YOU DO: Visit weekly with an isolated elder to talk, take a walk or just hang out. Give a ride to shop or pick up a prescription. Provide emotional support and advocacy.
• WHAT YOU GET: A chance to build meaningful relationships, receive mileage reimbursement.

AMERICORPS SENIORS (WASHOE COUNTY RSVP)

• WHAT YOU DO: AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers are people age 55+ who contribute their skills and talents to a variety of community groups. We'll help match you with service that fits with your schedule and interests.
