Who Should Attend

The 2018 Western Region Flex Conference will provide opportunities for CAH administrators and staff, state Flex program staff, and rural health care leaders to share information and best practices with their peers in the western region of the United States. The conference will also provide an opportunity for participants to learn about the latest state and national health policy developments and their impact on CAHs and other rural health care providers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss public policy issues affecting CAHs and other rural health care providers, both nationally and in the western region of the United States
  • Identify how the delivery of inpatient and outpatient services provided by Critical Access Hospitals is changing and how CAHs can position themselves in this challenging environment
  • Identify ways in which MBQIP data is being utilized to improve health care and patient safety for rural populations

Registration

The registration fee includes two breakfasts, one lunch, and social reception.

Early Registration Fee (on or before May 6, 2018): $350

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing by the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Office of Continuing Medical Education by May 6, 2018 will receive a full refund less a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations after May 6, 2018 are non-refundable.
