The Nevada Physician Wellness Coalition was developed by physicians in Nevada for physicians. The coalition is a completely independent Nevada non-profit 501c3 organization. Our mission is to address the devastation and negative community impact of physician burnout and suicide.
Physician burnout has become an epidemic and the number of physicians that have depression is significant along with the number of physician suicides. This topic has not been widely discussed and many physicians are still unaware of the problem and what options exist to help support them.
The target audience is physicians and medical students.

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This program provides 1.00 CME credit toward the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners' requirement for 2 hours of training related to suicide prevention, intervention and detection every 4 years.
