Welcome Home!

Curious to see what's happening at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine? How long has it been since you've been home? Join us for the A Perfect Match Celebration on March 15, 2018. Kelle Brogan, M.D. '86 will be recognized as our Alumnus of the Year. We have invited the current and emeritus faculty and I think you'll be pleased to see some familiar faces.

In the past, individual reunion classes have planned activities together, in addition to joining us for the hosted reception. It just takes one class representative or a small group to step up and make a few plans to make your reunion special. That person should be you! Reno alumni, I'm looking at you, invite your friends to "come home" and back to campus!

To give you a sense of how easy it can be, my reunion class met for burgers and beers near campus on Saturday and shared dinner at Rapscallions after the reception on Friday. It was easy, casual and came together over a few email blasts. We have had classmates generously open their homes for get-togethers but there are also many new and interesting places to meet up in Reno. You might like The Vine or The Depot on 4th Street, Craft Wine and Beer on Martin Street in Midtown or old favorites near campus, The Wal, Archies and the Pub N Sub.

There's definitely no pressure to organize separate events, but if you want to, then let the Alumni Association help! We can send email blasts to your classmates or share your plans on the web site. To contact your class or for questions about reunuion events, please contact alumni relations at alumni@med.unr.edu

Let's keep the traditions alive at Nevada!
