Biography

Danielle completed her Bachelor of Science at Arizona State University in 2002, followed by her master's degree in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona in 2005. She began her career in PA education in 2009 at Midwestern University as Director of Clinical Education, and completed her Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) with an emphasis on Global Health in 2013. Her teaching interests include public health, addiction, immunology, pulmonology, and infectious disease.

Most recently Program Director of the A.T. Still University PA program in Mesa Arizona, Danielle relocated to Reno in January 2018 to join the UNR Med PA team. Her clinical practice experience includes emergency medicine and urgent care, and she has participated in several international health outreach projects. She has held several volunteer leadership positions within the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), most recently completing a five-year tenure with the association's Conference Council.
Danielle enjoys the outdoors, and is looking forward to all of the recreational opportunities available in Northern Nevada. She spends her free time hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and dog, Cooper.
