Why did you choose the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Reno Family Medicine Residency?:I chose the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Reno for several reasons. The program has been around for a long time and has a strong reputation. During my interview I was impressed by the supportive medical education culture and cohesiveness amongst faculty and residents. Also, there are vast training opportunities and a variety of settings train in. In addition, the location is hard to beat with the close proximity to the mountains and lake Tahoe. Overall, I felt the program and location were a great fit.
