Biography

Timothy Baker, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med).

Dr. Baker is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS in biology and received his M.D. from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in 2004. He completed his residency training and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He joined the faculty of the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in 2008.
As Senior Associate Dean he oversees all UNR Med academic programs and support services related to medical student, physician assistant and resident education as well as those related to continuing medical education.

Additionally, Dr. Baker serves the UNR Med as a practicing Internal Medicine primary care physician where he treats complex disease and practices preventative medicine for adult patients.
