Biography

Dr. Frescholtz was born and raised in North Lake Tahoe and attended the University of Nevada, Reno for undergraduate, graduate and medical school. She completed her OB/GYN residency training at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, CA where she was the recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Award for Humanism and Excellence in Teaching, which recognizes residents for their humanism and for exemplary teaching of medical students. Shortly after finishing her training she elected to return home to the Reno/Tahoe area and is excited to be back at her alma mater. At UNR Med, Dr. Frescholtz provides comprehensive, evidence-based, compassionate women's health care and is trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques. Her professional interests include pelvic pain and pelvic floor disorders. She is excited to be back home in the mountains where she enjoys trail running, skiing, hiking, biking and relaxing with her partner and their dogs.
