Color Guides

University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine brand standards include a primary color palette and a secondary color palette, as well as an extended color palette.

In the event you need to provide a vendor with color codes to ensure correct color output, a good rule of thumb is that CMYK values are used for any item that will be physically printed – brochures, magazine ads - while items created for digital use – websites, social media, digital advertisements – will use RGB values.

A quick Google search can help you determine which color profile you are using on various design programs. If you are unsure, please email Andrea Farnsworth for assistance.
