School of Medicine’s Class of 2009 to learn residency ‘match’ results

Media invited to attend as students celebrate ‘Match Day” at Thursday, March 19 events in Las Vegas, Reno

WHAT: Fourth-year medical students at the University of Nevada School of Medicine will learn where they will receive their residency training on Thursday, March 19 at 9 a.m. when students in both Reno and Las Vegas will learn the results from the National Resident Matching Program. The National Resident Matching Program is a private, not-for-profit corporation that provides an impartial venue for matching applicants' and programs' preferences for each other by reviewing their individualized rank order lists.

Media are invited to attend the announcement ceremony.
