University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine names Roseann Langlois as Content Marketing Manager

Roseann Langlois has joined the Advancement and Engagement department at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) as content marketing manager.

In her role, Langlois will curate the voice and persona of UNR Med via web-based communications and social media. Langlois will develop digital content that tells the UNR Med story through medical education and research developments, student and faculty profiles and School of Medicine initiatives. She will lead online storytelling across multiple platforms, creating, writing and producing content for the school's diverse audiences, including prospective and current students, prospective faculty and staff, alumni, donors, the northern Nevada community, community partners and peer institutions.  

Langlois brings more than 20 years of experience writing and editing copy for various print and online media. Most recently, she served as digital content editor and managing editor of bestmedicinenews.org for Renown Health. Prior, she served as associate editor and senior writer for the University of Nevada, Reno Department of Development and Alumni Relations.  

Langlois' background also includes more than a decade as a journalist producing breaking news and award-winning features at media outlets including the Tahoe Daily Tribune, Reno Gazette-Journal, Napa Valley Register, Chico Enterprise-Record and Los Angeles Times. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Chico.  

Langlois is also an active fitness professional with more than 20 years' experience making exercise accessible and fun for all populations through a variety of modalities at Yoga Pod, Full Pedal Reno and Double Diamond Athletic Club. She enjoys motivating her students to work toward their best selves.
