Carolyn Brayko, Ph.D., director, organizational development and strategic planning. 

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) announces a new post in the Office of the Dean, with Carolyn Brayko, Ph.D., named director, organizational development and strategic planning.

In her new role, Brayko will lead the school's organizational development efforts, including guiding long-range, institutional change and improvement projects. Specifically, she will oversee school-wide strategic planning and culture change initiatives. Brayko will work to increase institutional effectiveness in collaboration with UNR Med's Human Resources, Office for Faculty, and Continuous Institutional Assessment, as well as other departments.

Brayko brings over three years of higher education continuous improvement and strategic planning experience to her new position. She most recently served as a quality improvement coordinator for UNR Med's Office of Continuous Institutional Assessment and the Office of Graduate Medical Education. Previously, she worked as a strategic plan coordinator for UNR Med.

Brayko earned Ph.D. and Master of Arts degrees in psychology with the Behavior Analysis Program from the University of Nevada, Reno. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French, with minors in psychology and English from Gonzaga University. She has been published in two referred journals and 15 conference proceedings. She has taught undergraduate courses and given graduate-level lectures on psychology.

Brayko's community involvement has included serving as an Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) Network Mentor Program co-chair, a Nevada Association for Behavior Analysis Officer and the OBM Network Newsletter editor.
