News for A Healthy Nevada

Together we can photos

A collage of signs with sayings from the 2017 Together We Can campaign.

Together We Did

Our goal was to establish an endowed scholarship supported by faculty and staff, and together, we did it!
With combined one-time cash gifts and more than $6,000 pledged through ongoing payroll deductions, coupled with a generous $3,000 match by Drs. Josh Bardin and Carol Cheney, we will have achieved the $10,000 threshold needed to establish an endowed fund by the end of the year. To those who contributed, thank you! We set a lofty goal, and it's impressive to see UNR Med faculty and staff rise to the challenge.
While we did, we are certainly not done. Giving can occur at any time, and if you were not able to give during February, it is not too late to do so now, either online, through a one-time or recurring payroll deduction, or by check.
Every gift makes a difference for the students who will go on to make lasting change as physicians and scientists. By supporting this fund, we're sending a compelling message to our generous alumni, partners, friends and donors, that we believe the School of Medicine is a worthy investment.
