Research begins with an exciting idea
The Office of Medical Research (OMR) will help provide the resources and support to foster an idea for research. We are determined to limit the number of obstacles and barriers that may discourage physicians from beginning this process. Doing research with a medical student is an excellent way of obtaining additional support. OMR trains medical students on IRB protocols, case reports and study designs. This training is designed to help offload administrative tasks that come with doing research. Not to mention how eager medical students are to gain experience and contribute to the medical field!
