Number of Weeks: Inpatient Setting 3 Outpatient Setting 3

Description:

• The inpatient setting takes place at both Renown Regional Medical Center and Saint Mary's Medical Center.
• The outpatient setting takes place at both the Family Medicine Center and the Patient Centered Family Medicine Clinic.
• Outpatient work includes newborn, pediatric, adult and obstetrical care involving acute and chronic conditions, procedures and preventive care.

Call Requirements: One Saturday shift (6 AM - 5 PM)

Assessment Methods: Your performance during the Family Medicine clerkship will be evaluated by attendings and senior residents you work with, and by a written, standardized shelf examination, a presentation, and participation.

Grading System: Final grades will be honors, high pass or pass.
