Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Discuss the principles of Family Medicine Care and utilize available resources to meet their learning needs.
- Gather information, formulate differential diagnoses, develop clinical skills, and propose plans for the initial evaluation and management of patients with common presentations.
- Manage follow-up visits with patients having common chronic diseases using cost effective care and appropriate community resources.
- Apply critical thinking skills and understand human nature to develop evidence-based health promotion/disease prevention plans for patients of any age or gender.
- Demonstrate competency in advanced elicitation of history, effective communication with patients and healthcare providers, and accurate documentation.
- Fulfill professional duties in a respectful, reliable, and responsible manner adhering to the ethical principles of patient care.
