Rural Rotation MED 608

Number of Weeks:  Inpatient and Outpatient (combined) 4

Description:  During their Rural Rotation, students will experience clinical immersion in the small, rural or frontier community. They are expected to "live the life" of their preceptor for the four weeks of this required course.

Call Requirements: TBA

Assessment methods:  Your performance in the Rural Rotation will be determined using your attending evaluations.

Grading System:  Final grades will be honors, high pass, pass, or fail.

Special advice from the Clerkship Director: Be prepared to work hard, participate, communicate, learn a lot, and be a good citized of the community.
