Goals/Objectives

  • To be able to recognize common dermatological entities
  • To gain an understanding of the basic tenets of diagnosis and management in dermatology

Description of Rotation

A two week course, principally of office dermatology, designed to give the student practical experience in recognition of dermatological disorders. Emphasis will be placed on the diagnosis and management of common dermatological disorders which can be recognized and treated in the ambulatory setting.

Ongoing subjective evaluation by the preceptor.

Grade

  • Honors: An exceptional performance which exceeds all course objectives
  • High Pass: A performance which exceeds most course objectives
