Goals/Objectives
- To provide students with opportunities to observe and participate in psychiatric care of patients in a variety of settings. Research opportunities may also be available.
Description of Rotation
This is a clinical or research elective in psychiatry with department faculty. Student experiences may include: UNR Student Health Clinic, inpatient psychiatry, and consultation psychiatry at Renown Regional Medical Center, Forensic Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, psychotherapy and general outpatient practice. The elective will be tailored to individual students' interests and learning goals with flexible scheduling.
