Psychological and Psychotherapy Services

Patient Care

Psychologists and psychotherapists at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine are highly trained specialists who can help address behaviors and thought processes associated with mental health disorders. They provide support for a variety of diagnosis' including depression and anxiety, personality disorders, and can even support patients suffering from fear and grief due to domestic violence or sexual assault. Clinicians often refer patients to psychotherapy to increase the potential for or the effectiveness of treatment. If expertise beyond the scope of our psychologists and psychotherapists is required, our team members regularly collaborate with and refer patients to School of Medicine psychiatrists and/or medication management specialists.

Our psychologists are university-based and have access to the latest medical research and clinical studies. In addition, they routinely participate in their own studies to advance their knowledge in the field. We care for all patients of any age, race, or sexual identity. If you need advice about managing a physical diagnosis or if you need emotional support... our team of qualified psychologists and psychotherapists is here to help.

Give us a call to schedule your appointment with a member of our caring team today. You are always welcome.
