Scholarly Activity

Student Handbook, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences: Reno

Each resident shall engage in scholarly activity during their training. At a minimum, the resident is expected to present a Grand Rounds in the Department under the mentorship of a faculty member. This would meet the requirement for scholarly activity. If the resident wishes to engage in activity other than Grand Rounds, approval by the Program Director is required.

Other scholarly activity may include authoring or co-authoring book chapters, articles for publication including case reports or independent research leading to articles submitted for publication.
