Holly Breeden

  • Medical School: University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine

Justin Bumgardner Body Wellness Chair
Justin Bumgardner

  • Medical School: University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
  • Undergraduate College: University of Nevada, Reno 2014
  • Undergraduate Degree: Biology
  • Hometown: Earth, Orion Arm of the Milky Way galaxy
  • Career Goals: Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • Hobbies: Staying active outdoors via cycling, trail running, backpacking, day hiking, football, and doing anything in the rain. Indoors activities enjoyed are yoga, fencing, woodworking, attending concerts of the Reno Chamber Orchestra, and watching movies.

Justin is passionate about living life as an ongoing journey. Finite destinations are not nonpareil (thanks Shakespeare) endeavors; rather, the challenges and reaction to them, failures endured, successes achieved, and relationships with people met along the way are the integral essences of life. Ultimately, the summation of those experiences lead to the continual growth of body, mind, and soul. Also, as a tree hugger… accepting the role as steward of Mother Earth it remains vital to take only pictures and leave only footprints during the journey. His favorite Reno restaurant for a burger and a beer is Great Basin Brewery - that’s the spot (the original Sparks location). However, for fine dining, Justin enjoys La Famiglia Ristorante Italiano because it always provides amazing food, service, and ambiance. Honorable mention: LuLou's. Justin’s favorite medical school moments include volunteering at the Student Outreach Clinic and the wellness hike/run to the N in the foothills by the School of Medicine, which was fantastic.
