Sequery 1.0 Tutorial

Sequery is a custom program with a facile graphical user interface (GUI). It was written in OpenGL and C, which recognizes each sequence as a string of 1-byte characters. Using Sequery, one can compare simultaneously thousands of sequence reads with DNA sequences (e.g. genomic sequences of different species) and RNA sequences (e.g. transcriptomes of mRNAs and different small noncoding RNA species) to determine whether complete or partial matches exist. FASTA-formatted and tab-delimited text sequences can be imported and compared for nucleotide (nt) matches. More functions of this software are described in detail in the Sequery manual.

Note: Sequery is currently only for Mac OSX

Sequery v.2 will be released soon!
