Summary

I was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and moved to Reno in 1982. Reno has been home to me ever since. I was involved in many athletic and academic ventures locally and graduated from Reno High School in 1990. In fact, I was inducted in to the Reno High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017. I became a student-athlete at the University of California San Diego in 1990 and completed my B.S. in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience in 1994. In addition, I was a four time All American in Women's Water Polo. Upon graduation, I returned home to Reno to attend medical school. After completing OB/GYN residency training in Las Vegas, I returned home to Reno and began practicing obstetrics and gynecology with OB/GYN Associates. In my sixteen years with this group, I provided compassionate and high-quality care to thousands of women.

In 2018, I became a full-time clinical faculty member of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. I am excited to begin this next chapter of my career and continue to provide exceptional health care to the women of northern Nevada. In addition, I am now able to fulfill my lifelong desire to teach and to help train and mentor future doctors and medical providers.
