Our leadership

Since opening our doors in 1969, the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) has made great strides toward achieving our vision of A Healthy Nevada.

UNR Med is embarking on an exciting chapter as we pursue our ambitious Strategic Plan for 2024-2029. Our commitment to quality education, state-of-the-art translational research, and community engagement remains steadfast. Our partnerships with Renown Health, the Veterans Administration Sierra Nevada Health Care, and community faculty allow us to address health care challenges in the state, thereby taking a significant step to attain our vision of A Healthy Nevada.
