Upcoming Wellness Program: Healthy Steps for Older Adults (HSOA)

This free, small group workshop has been proven to reduce falls. The workshop also provides steps to make homes safer, manage medicines and learn how to improve strength, balance and overall fitness, along with providing other resources to help prevent falls.

HSOA workshops are for any older adult who wants to maintain mobility and independence.

Participants meet for two, 2.5-hour educational sessions, with lunch served in between sessions. Workshops are facilitated by trained leaders and provide a safe and positive learning experience.

March 11, 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Sparks Library, 1125 12th Street.
