We offer direct services that support the health, independence, and well-being of older adults in our community. From geriatric care management to volunteer programs and caregiver support, these services are designed to meet the unique needs of aging individuals and their families.
We provide educational opportunities for healthcare professionals, family caregivers and community members who support older adults—offering knowledge, tools and resources to enhance the quality of care and connection. We also have lifelong learning for those over 50-years-old with our Osher Lifelong Learning Institute featuring lectures, interest groups, outdoor activities and more.
Gerontology is the interdisciplinary study of aging and older adults. The Gerontology Academic Program (GAP) focuses on aging’s biological, physiological, communicative, psychological, social and health aspects. The interdisciplinary program promotes critical thinking, service learning, research and innovation. Students will become aging-informed, setting them apart and enhancing their careers.
