Overview

This course aims to enhance your precepting skills in busy clinical settings, creating a more positive learning environment for our students. By participating, you will become more comfortable and effective in your role.

Timothy Baker MD will provide valuable insights and strategies on overcoming common barriers to precepting, implementing efficient administrative practices, mastering the “One Minute Preceptor” model for quick feedback, adjusting your teaching approach based on learner experience, and exploring techniques to improve precepting efficiency. By taking this course, you’ll be better prepared to manage precepting in a busy environment, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for UNR Med students.
