First Responders Managing Individuals in Crisis

This brand new ECHO program aims to support first responders and law enforcement professionals with needs related to  individuals in active crisis, including mental health or substance use, with a focus on de-escalation tactics and preservation of life. We will build upon existing CIT training modules, focusing specifically on self-harm/suicide, co-occurring mental health disorders within families, differentiation of mental health behavior and disability, and special populations, i.e. Alzheimer’s, Parkinsons, psychosis, etc.
