Family Medicine residents gain broad inpatient and outpatient experience with close faculty mentorship, flexible electives, and opportunities in areas such as sports medicine, wilderness medicine, addiction medicine, and lifestyle medicine.

Internal Medicine residents train in a diverse, collaborative environment that builds strong clinical knowledge, compassionate patient care skills, and readiness for independent practice or fellowship training. Their varied backgrounds and experiences help create a rich learning community and prepare residents to succeed across a wide range of medical settings.

Pediatrics residents train in a close-knit, supportive environment with hands-on experience across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty pediatric care. With access to Northern Nevada’s only children’s hospital, NICU, PICU, Pediatric ER, and Level II Trauma Center, residents gain broad clinical experience while caring for children from underserved communities.

Psychiatry residents train in a supportive, collaborative environment with diverse clinical experiences and close faculty mentorship. The program emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, community engagement, and preparing residents to become skilled psychiatrists and advocates for mental health.
