After Arrival

Within 3 days of your arrival, you must contact Cairn Lindloff (clindloff@unr.edu) to confirm your arrival to the US, as per your Onboarding To-Do list. She will initiate your immigration validation and schedule your orientation meeting which will include information about applying for a Social Security Card at the Social Security Administration in town.

You will continue to work through your Onboarding To-Do list items.

Dr. Sean Ward will meet with you to discuss your research interests and make a laboratory placement decision. After your lab placements are made you will begin your 1 year research internship working in your new mentor's laboratory. More information on laboratory placements can be found in the next tab.
