County-Level Health Workforce and Population Health Database

Nevada Desert

The Nevada Instant Atlas provides a visual display of important data on 17 counties in Nevada extracted from nine editions of the Nevada Rural and Frontier Health Data Book which began in 2002. This data is compiled from over 50 sources to include information on population, demographic characteristics, social and economic characteristics, health insurance coverage, population health, healthcare workforce, and healthcare resources. The Nevada Instant Atlas is an interactive and user-friendly database. Users can explore accurate and current data and discover disparities between social groups and health behaviors. An example of data is to reveiw county data about females of chilbearing age, click this link and follow the instructions.
