Simulation Lab

The Simulation Lab is a cutting-edge medical training facility featuring five types of simulation as well as a variety of task trainers. Each simulation is designed to offer a realistic representation of clinical environments to improve patient outcomes and safety.

Standardized Patient Education

The Standardized Patient Education Program gives students the opportunity to train with actual patients in a simulated setting. Through real-world scenarios, medical students practice their patient care and communication skills by taking medical histories, giving physical exams and more.

Our Mission

The mission of the UNR Simulation Center is to support healthcare learners through high-quality simulation experiences that promote deliberate practice through clinical knowledge development, teamwork, and reflection.

We provide a psychologically safe and inclusive environment in which learners engage in realistic clinical scenarios, effective debriefing, and interprofessional collaboration to enhance confidence, communication, and readiness for clinical practice.
