Overview
Special Care Dentistry and the Dental Team is an overview of how every team member can help improve the dental experience for adult patients who have special healthcare needs.

The Nevada Division of Health Care Finance and Policy with support from the American Rescue Plan Act has provided the funding for this project.
Learning Objectives
Following participation in this course, participants should be able to:
- Discuss how a dental assistant can adjust to improve success in special care dentistry
- Discuss how a receptionist can adjust to improve success in special care dentists
- Discuss how a hygienist can adjust to improve success in special care dentistry
- Learn how to select and train a team to work with these wonderful patients
