Western Region Flex Conference

Who Should Attend

The 2024 Western Region Flex Conference is an opportunity for CAH administrators, state Flex program staff, and rural healthcare leaders to share information and best practices with their peers in the Western region of the United States. Participants will learn about the latest state and national health policy developments and their impact on CAHs and other rural health care providers.

Registration

The registration fee includes two breakfasts, one lunch, and social reception.

Early Registration Fee (on or before May 8, 2024): $500
Late Registration Fee (after May 8, 2024): $600

The last day to register is May 15, 2024.

Learning Objectives

Following participation in this course, participants should be able to:

  • Utilize current information on clinical best practices to improve the quality of care and manage risk in Critical Access Hospitals
  • Discuss new program opportunities for Rural Hospitals in 2024
  • Assess health workforce challenges and recruitment barriers facing rural hospitals and clinics in the western region of the United States
  • Evaluate strategies to improve the recruitment and retention of health professionals in rural hospitals and clinics

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing to the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Office of Continuing Medical Education before May 8, 2024 will receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations on or after May 8, 2024 are non-refundable.
