Academic Logo
The academic logo for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is a symbol of the institution as well as a bridge to the rest of the University.
The design follows brand guidelines established by the University of Nevada, Reno’s Office of Marketing & Communications. They are consistent in the use of the block N, color and typography.
UNR Med signature
A signature is a logo mark plus a logotype
The horizontal and vertical logos includes the full name of the school and the logotype typeset to the right of (e.g., horizontal logo) and below (e.g., vertical logo) the block N graphic. The UNR Med signature can be produced in four-color process (CMYK), two PANTONE® colors, black and white, and grayscale. A full logo package is available with all approved color options. The fonts used in the logo are Myriad Pro.
The UNR Med logo should not be altered in any way, including stretching, shadowing, beveling, changing the proportions or altering the color palette.
Co-branding
UNR Med will often have co-branded pieces such as signage, joint advertisements and other public-facing materials. All co-branded materials should be reviewed by Marketing and Communications.

Primary typeface – Myriad Pro
Myriad Pro is the official marketing typeface for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. It is a sans-serif typeface for headlines and body copy.
Secondary typeface – Minion Pro
Minion Pro is a secondary official marketing typeface for the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. This serif typeface can used for headlines and is optimal for longer body copy.
