Special Instructions
  • Sample may be stored up to 7 days refrigerated at 2-8° C.
  • Centrifuge and remove serum from clot as soon as possible and before storing. Transfer separated serum or plasma to labeled plastic transport tube.
  • If need to store longer than 7 days, serum may be frozen at -20° C or colder.
  • Specimens with precipitate should be clarified by centrifugation.
  • Do not use heat-inactivated specimens.
  • Draw prior to heparin therapy.
