Special Instructions
  • Sample may be stored up to 4 days at room temperature, 7 days refrigerated at 2-8°C or frozen at -20°C or colder for up to 30 days.
  • Centrifuge and remove serum from clot as soon as possible and before storing. Transfer separated serum or plasma into a labeled plastic transport tube.
  • If need to store longer than 7 days, serum may be frozen at –20°C or colder.
  • Do not use heat-inactivated serum
  • Identify sample as acute or convalescent
