Specimen Identification	Label transport tube with patient’s first and last name, DOB and date/time of collection.
Special Instructions	Indicate specific specimen source on requisition slip. Include any pertinent patient medical history or other clinical findings.
Shipping Requirements	Store and ship at room temperature. Samples collected on swab must be received at lab same day as collected. Specimens inoculated onto MTM should be incubated for 18-24 hours with 5-10% CO2 before transporting to the laboratory.
