Specimen Container	Paddle sent in sterile container
Specimen Identification	Label specimen with patient’s first and last name, DOB and date/time of collection.
Special Instructions	Press the sticky surface of the paddle against the perianal region upon waking in the morning. Collect one sample per day for 2-3 days Indicate time of collection on the specimen container. Specimens are best obtained at night between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. or upon waking and before bowel movement or bath.
Shipping Requirements	Store and ship at room temperature. Transport the specimen to the laboratory as quickly as possible but no longer than 24 hours from collection.
