Undergraduate Research

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) offers junior and senior level students the chance to work in a research lab and pursue independent research projects. This ten-week summer program is awarded to undergraduate students who are interested in conducting full-time research.

International Undergraduate Research Program

UNR Med has established an International Undergraduate Research Program with various universities in Ireland, England and Scotland. This program creates opportunities for international students to broaden their experiences and perform high quality research in basic sciences.

Medical Student Research

UNR Med offers comprehensive support to students who want to gain meaningful experience in medical education research, translational research and clinical trial conduct. Our research navigation services include mentor matching, guidance on protocol development with contribution by biostatistical support, and obtaining scientific and IRB review and protocol logistics. Additionally, the Translational Research Center tracks metrics on scholarly activity for the purpose of reporting for LCME accreditation.
